OAuthcalypse

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Seriously Twitter, you were quite annoying today.

Did you get hit with a dialog box today? Did your tweet aggregator prompt you over, and over, and over again for a password? Did your Tweetie app flat out shut you out?

Yes?

Yea, me too.

Username and password are being requested by Twitter, with the unhelpful message, “Twitter API.” The same dialog box has been popping up on websites all day long.

2010 Digital Pharma Conference Schedule

Monday, August 30th, 2010

Tis the season.

Understanding digital advertising for some is confusing enough, keeping track of all your digication opportunities shouldn’t have to be.

Many are currently in the process of ascertaining all the available conferences over the next few months, topics/tracks most relevant to our own/colleagues/clients educational needs. Thanks to Wendy Blackburn and John Mack, for providing great lists to work from.

With so many URLs, brochures, speakers and topics to keep track of, I took the uber organizational route and put the US-based ones in spreadsheet. This provides a nice snapshot of the next few months and may be helpful for you and your co-workers/colleagues, as I’m sure it will be for mine.

(view & download the PDF below).

Includes:

  • name
  • date
  • location
  • description
  • focus
  • panel (if available)
  • cost
  • pre-conf sessions (if available)
  • discount code (if available)
  • embedded URL to brochure or description
  • embedded URL to registration

I will keep current with updates/additions. *If you find any content to be inaccurate or change, please let me know, I’ll update it accordingly and repost.

Happy Fall digi planning!

Art o’Mat

A closer look at Baby Boomers.

Today, updated stats from Pew’s Internet and American Life Project stated an increase in social media use amongst all age groups— specifically in those age 50+.

Social networking use among internet users ages 50+ nearly doubled—from 22% in April 2009 to 42% in May 2010. (more…)
