About

Insights on all things digilicious within the evolving world of advertising.
Commentary focusing on digital marketing, social media and tech. My interests focus on macro digital trends and how consumer behaviors shift as a result of them. I look to identify opportunities utilizing emerging digital technology across all verticals.
Net-net: this is not another digital strategy blog; just a healthy side of it, like kale.
I have spent 13+ years in consumer and professional advertising and have built my experience off tightening the match between customer needs and brand offerings & promises. Everyone likes to talk the talk about how to strategically evolve advertising into customer engagement. Luckily my role at an advertising agency allows me the ability to “talk” and “do”.
I often like to talk about the “do” part of that, who doesn’t want to share their opinions and experience? Isn’t that what social media was created for— extending and connecting like-minded individuals and interests?
In any event, I hope my insights serve a worthy and knowledgeable purpose for others along the same journey across the digital landscape.
Who is Jess Seilheimer?
I am creative by design. I am business savvy by experience. I call it Cre-tegic.
I address business objectives with actionable and results-driven strategies. I believe an insight-driven approach across the target consumer segment, category, and brand best informs marketing decisions with purposeful meaning. I focus on digital technology platforms, creating a connected and engaging user experience throughout the entire customer journey that achieves desired outcomes.
A recipe for digilicious execution.
Not every combination tastes the same for the end user, so I frequently mix up flavors of engagement. I help marketing executives and brands embrace change and adapt to new technologies and trends. I support the notion that an iterative approach over the certainty of 1 big idea allows for agile movements across the intersection of marketing and technical innovation. I pull from every angle; twist, turn, and bend through trial and error. My failures have lead to success more often than not; I haven’t been able to build experience and develop expertise without it.
I flourish in creative environments fueled by positive energy, innovative thinking and enjoy a “surround share” approach to life; professionally and personally. I live in Manhattan and think it’s the greatest city on earth; everyday I find various forms of inspiration right outside my door.
