Exercises with dumbbells that strengthen the legs the most

Full body workout fans are in luck as Better Naked Club, an online workout platform with face-to-face classes in Madrid, has brought one of the toughest. Hugo Seriñán and Andrea de Ayala, personal trainers, are the experts to show us how to perform these four exercises with dumbbells to strengthen our whole body and especially our legs.

The training they offer will be done with equipment, with dumbbells in this case, and each exercise will be done for 45 seconds, being able to rest for 15 seconds after each one. Plus, there are simpler alternatives for those new to this type of exercise. And don’t forget to repeat the training three more times to complete it as they offer!

Exercise 1. Press squat

With your dumbbells, lower into a squat, bending your knees and buttocks back, and come up to the press, that is, when you come up, raise your arms straight up. Do this for 45 seconds.

Exercise 2. Flight

Place your feet hip-width apart, relax your knees, and open and close your arms, with a dumbbell in each hand, as if you want to take flight. The elbows are almost fully extended and your arms are no higher than your head. Do the exercise for 40 seconds.

Exercise 3. Snatch

We open our legs a little more than shoulder width and descend into a squat with our arms extended to the floor, with dumbbells in our hands. Then stretch and raise your arms. Do not come down with a hunched back and try to keep your chest high. Do this for 45 seconds.

Exercise 4. Power lunge

Dumbbells on the sides of the body, we make a stride and we raise the knee with or without a jump. Go alternate one leg with another and do it for 45 seconds.

Once this set of four exercises is complete, remember to do the remaining three to complete the workout.
